Hi there! My name’s Paige but I often go by the name “Boo-Boo”, a nickname given to me by my brother when he first learned to talk (and has since pretty much replaced my actual name!) Hence why I declared this blog to be Boo-Boo’s Blog.
There’s a lot to say about me: I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, a partner. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Psychology with Criminology in 2018 and I am an avid geek! I’m also Autistic and have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
Now the last two I mention at the end not because I am ashamed (because I’m definitely not), but to show that they’re a part of me but not all of me. That is to say: I’m more than my conditions as is everyone even if they sometimes feel like they aren’t.
So this is me. This is Boo-Boo: a woman with a lot on her mind, a lot to say, and fingers itching to type it. This blog will be about me and my experiences, in all my fabulously sassy awkwardness trying to manouvere a world made mostly for neurotypicals (for any neurotypical people reading, don’t be offended by that!) And hopefully letting others know they aren’t alone in their own struggles.
